Legacy starts here.
Join the ecosystem where Black women stop building alone and become fully resourced through community, capital, and collaboration.
We are creating the conditions so Black Women can stop choosing between rest and a dream to
build a business.The system wasn't built for us…
so we left to build our own.
The conditions Black women need to thrive don't exist — so we’re creating them. Black women have always been the architects of things that weren't built for them.
Sankofa is the first thing built specifically for her.
For the woman who just walked away from corporate with decades of expertise and is ready to build on her own terms.
For the woman already building, already growing, who knows the next level requires more than she can create alone.
For all of us who decided the answer was each other. This is the infrastructure.
This is the room.

$24K

<1%

Community made.
Community funded.
Community owned.
Sankofa is a nonprofit because we wanted this community to belong to itself.
The word "community" has been commoditized beyond recognition; used to describe platforms where you're one more number in a cashflow equation, built around one person's expertise, abandoned the moment it stops being profitable.
We weren’t interested in that.
Something no one could sell, exit, or walk away from.
That's why the infrastructure matters.
Price isn't a barrier to being here.
No one is boosting their personal brand on your back.
And this isn't a content library with a chat function.
It's the conditions to stop choosing between rest and a dream.
We wanted something that could help Black women build a legacy for generations to come.
Real access to real resources
Most communities give you content. Sankofa gives you the conditions to succeed.
Community Platform
Sankofa's digital community is where the living room comes to life. Everything inside is designed around the four pillars that make a whole life possible: Work, Wealth, Wellbeing, and Ancestral Wisdom.
Because we know that when Black women are fully resourced in all four, the collective thrives. This is where the connections happen, the knowledge circulates, and the conditions for your next level get built together.
Seed Grants
Sankofa's seed grant program provides financial support paired with mentorship, community accountability, and amplification for entrepreneurial and creative ventures — from business launches to creative projects to community-driven initiatives.
Coming 2027. Every membership contributes to the pool.
Residential Retreats
Sankofa's residential retreats create the space for Black women to exhale, reconnect, and move a deferred dream toward a realized one.
Through expert facilitation, ancestral practices, deep rest, and real community, participants leave with renewal and momentum in equal measure.
Need-based scholarships ensure the retreat is accessible across class lines.
Coming 2027. Join the community to be first to know.
